McDonald's — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Possibly the worst McDonald's in the city. I went about half a dozen times only because of its convenience in location to where I work. The first time I went the place was extremely dirty and understaffed. The main priority is the drive thru and the customers eating inside have to wait at least twice as long to get their order. I would blame the manager/owner as they are extremely cheap and never around to help out. The last time I went I order a mighty angus and it was served with nothing on the burger except sauce and a bun. Where is the bacon, tomatoes, cheese, and onions ??? I brought the burger back and the cashier argued with me because I asked for pickles it meant I didn't want anything else which is petty and lazy and wrong. The cashier than brought me a box with bacon a tomato and onions 5 minutes later and my fries were cold and expected me to use my hands and place the toppings in myself. I'm decided not to ask for a refund or a new meal made properly because this situation happened 3 out of the 6 times I ordered meals. No apologies no care and meanwhile there was no ketchup at the condiments and no napkins either. Half of the tables had finished meals left on it. Again I don't blame most of the regular staff because most of them look super busy and are sometimes do the job of 2 people, I hold the managers and owner almost completely responsible. The the first time I went there a meal was messed up similar to the last experience with the mighty angus and I waited 15 minutes for it to be fixed. I decided to write a complaint on the website and was informed that my complaint was forwarded to the manager within a few business days. A month went by and than than 2 months and I got an email from the manager apologizing but the cheap ass didn't even offer me replacement meal or a few ones for the inconvenience. I still went as I mentioned it was convenient but after last time I am thru and tired of this place. Also they are so cheap that on summer days the air conditioner didn't seem to be turned on because it was a hot stinky unbreathable facility. I was told by coworkers this is a common re-occurrence. The service here is a joke. I wanted something cheap and fast, but I didn't get that here. I should have read the reviews prior to coming to this location and took my business elsewhere!

I wasn't happy that I was served last when I ordered before people who came into the store and ordered at the front counter. Is there a policy for them to serve those people over the people who use the kiosks? Like I understand that there are some people who do mobile orders but there are some people in the store who just order up front before we did when we came there before them. It doesn't make any sense like some McDonald's if they forgot your order or misplaced it and checked your receipt and everything to make sure you paid they usually upgrade your meal or whatever you ordered as it's quite sad for fast food to take longer than 10 minutes when you've got a child and a stroller who's waiting for their nuggets and all you need is your iced coffee.I observed the screen where it indicates when your food is being made in progress and who's next up being served, I was stunned when all the orders have been cleared.

They got the order right in the end but it was an extra 5 minute wait so my overall waiting list was 20 minutes and my partners break time was quite limited and we were supposed to drop off some food at the hospital before our departure and going about our day. I left feedback on the link behind the McDonald's receipt since I was unimpressed with my service and the workers' handle things yesterday. Would I be ordering ahead on the app next time? 2023 update: it’s the official McDonald’s Drug Use Shelter! they’ve unlocked the washrooms and officially let the high and dangerous roam freely around the store laying on the seats , screaming and disturbing everyone inside. They don’t say anyone anymore. You the paying customer are the inconvenience in their shelter for criminals, those visibly so high they are incoherent. Expect to be approached aggressively, expect to listen to a drunk or on drugs couple fighting and hitting each other in the restaurant and shouting and yelling. Place is a nightmare. Bathrooms always equipped with someone’s blood and used needles/among others. You know who I feel the worst for? The employees. They are nice and treat you kindly and are just trying to do a basic job and are Constantly in potential Danger.

I’ve been to a lot of McDonald’s but this is consistently the worst. They are consistently the slowest McDonald’s, regularly make mistakes on orders, and constantly keep changing

I don’t care what deal you throw out

Never coming back, come down one to many times to wait 20 minutes for fast food and show up to the store closed because they keep closing

Closes at like 8:00 in the evening now? What kind of McDonald’s closes at 8? Place is ridiculous...
