We attend this location for my sister’s birthday celebration.

I got there early and was seated quickly.

The server came, did not introduce themselves, but did take my drink order and brought it out quickly.

Everyone else arrived.

It went straight downhill. The server came back and again, did not introduce themselves.

I ordered an appetizer, it took a bit but came.

We ordered dinner. My sister clearly ordered a pepperoni, mushroom and bacon pizza. They shared an exchange over the kind of bacon.

In our party is a person who is hearing impaired and they heard my sister order mushrooms on this pizza.

After almost an hour, dinner finally came.

My sister’s pizza did not have mushrooms.

The server said she did not hear her order them. I said, we all heard it, but could you just remake it and how long would that take. She advised us that it was busy and it could be a long time.

I was stunned. It is the first time I have ever experienced that when the server misses getting an order correct that the person, who has already waited an hour, is basically told, “you are going to the bottom of the pile”.

My sister asked me, to just let it go, it was her birthday. The offer was to bring an order of sauted mushrooms. Which is what was decided.

The mushrooms, in no way could have been put on the pizza. Brought in a bowl because of the juices. They were fine to eat alone, but on the pizza and also not what was ordered.

I won’t go into the rest of the issues around getting service, to go boxes etc, but, here is the hard part to swallow…

My sister left the restaurant and I said I would meet her outside as I was going to talk to the manager.

I talked to a female, whose name I did not get, shared the experience with her and she indicated she was aware of the mushrooms; however had no idea that a request was put forward to have the pizza remade. I expressed my shock at being told the order would not be a priority.

She asked me for my contact information, which I provided, and she assured me she would call me the next day. That was on Aug 22/24.

It is now Aug 27/24 and I have not heard anything, from anyone.

Thoroughly disappointing.

The food, for those of us that got what they ordered was just ok.

The service was less than mediocre, but the lack of professionalism and follow through by the leader, that explained it all.

If the leader doesn’t follow through on their word, well, no one else under them will either.

Won’t go back.
