Original Georges Burgers & Subs — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Horrible customer service (manager/supervisor). The staffs are good but the manager/supervisor whoever that is very rude. I was ordering a Fatboy combo, and I asked the cashier what kind of sauce do they put in there, she said mayo, ketchup, mustard, chilli and and cheese. So I said just chilli and cheese for the sauce and no pickles, which means all veggies whatever comes with except pickles and the big guy who was on the side told the cashier that's "just put plain over there" on the till. And to confirm that I want the other veggies, the manager stormed in trying to tell me that I wanted plain, no buddy you where the one that told to your cashier its plain not me. I was talking about the sauce that the cashier informed me about. The attitude is very condescending and very disrespectful. Is it a big deal to confirm your order to make sure they get it right? I wasnt going to confirm it had you not told your staff it was plain. I have been to other burger places and always requesting pretty much the same order and never treated this way. And then and he kept pushing me that I wanted the plain. I was having a hard time to speak in English as it wasn't my first language and as well coming off from work. I told him that I want the other veggies, and then he looked at his staff said with a loud voice "Oh God". WTH buddy you don't treat your customer like that, even you were treating me condescendingly I wasn't raising my voice and still trying to be cordial with you. He looked at me and said I was confusing every body. No bud, if you didn't butt in when I was making my order and not told the cashier that it's plain everything will be fine. Horrible experience. I got the grilled chicken burger and it was okay it wasn’t what I expected,I expected it to be a lot better and the chicken to taste better as soon as I opened it, the whole burger fell apart it was a very messy burger but was okay there where a couple of dry pieces on the chicken (pictures of it below). I also had the fries the fries were great tasted like fresh potato’s great fries definitely recommend those. Portion sizes were great pretty big especially the large fries. Server was good took about 12 minutes to get the food which isn’t bad the restaurant wasn’t very busy at the time but for a big meal that’s pretty good. Atmosphere was okay could have been little better it was just quite nothing crazy. They also don’t offer public Wi Fi but not all restaurants do so it’s okay. Chicken was hit and miss one bite was very good and juicy and the next was stale and dry. Prices are okay a little pricey but inflation what can I say. Other then that pretty average restaurant nothing to special. Would give like a 3.4 stars...

Fries Were Very Average. I ate here on the advice of some friends. I was told the fries were amazing. They were not. I had a double Fat Boy burger. It was really good. No complaints. Better than anything you'd get at the fast-food stores. The fries... even a small was too much. That might have been because they were so dry and so dull. They reminded me of the potato chip snack Hickory Stix. I choked down about a third of the bag and fed the rest to the birds. Maybe all the hype for these was from my friends eating them with gravy etc. Good fries don't need condiments. I'll recomend this place but not the fries. I'll go back again but maybe the onion rings...
