I will start by saying the food is always delicious and amazing which is what keeps me coming back. I usually go to the Pembina location but we were in the area for work so we went to this location. Food is an A+, hot, delicious and fresh. The service however could have been better. I found it odd that the person at the front counter thought her priority was doing her closing duties (restocking the fridge with canned drinks) instead of attending to guests. There were multiple people in the restaurant waiting for orders including Skip and Door Dash drivers. The bell keep ringing that orders were up but she kept stocking the fridge. Next a couple of young men ahead of us got their orders and they were going to eat their food at the table and the girl behind the counter said they had to leave because the dining room was closed. Now the restaurant closes at 9pm and it was 840pm at this time. They asked if they could stay until 9pm and she told them no which I thought was rude as the restaurant is open until 9pm. Again, she just wants to finish her closing duties and leave. Me and my colleague found this pretty bizarre. Lastly as you can see in the pics I posted, our wraps were labeled with a marker on foil and the marker went through the foil and they wrote on my wrap. I tore off the part that had marker on it because hey, I'm not wasting that delicious wrap. I will continue to go to Ramallah but it will be the last time I visit this location as customer service is definitely not...
Read moreThe place was more like a place for online ordering than a cafe or restaurant. You can still dine in(4 out of 5 ). I ordered wrapped doner and it was little bit burnt (cut one star because of this) but overall the taste was good enough. I really liked that the döner was served with fries (I have seen it only in this place so far in Winnipeg) and yogurt on the side (4 out 5 for the doner). The service was very good and very kind people(5 out of 5). I also ordered a Turkish coffee and unfortunately I was little disappointed. I could forgive the taste if it is bad but i didn’t like it in a paper cup(another start because of this). Maybe it can be called something else like regular/filtered Turkish coffee. Anyway, I might be a little harsh with my review since I am familiar with these kinds of food, it May not be very fair but I strongly recommend this place, you should definitely give...
Read moreOrdered the beef shawarma platter and a side of fries for take out, I didn’t order ahead so I had to wait around 10 minutes. I didn’t mind the wait.
My favourite in the platter is the hummus and the salad. The shawarma and rice aren’t bad either. The serving is good for sharing two to three people depending on one’s appetite, I wasn’t able to finish it in one sitting (hooray for leftovers).
I’ve also read on Reddit that they have one of the best fries in the city, and they didn’t disappoint. The fries were very crispy, freshly cooked. And they go well with Ramallah’s special sauce. It was probably the reason why I didn’t finish the platter since I ate most of the fries first.
Definitely coming back here for more kebab and...
