UPDATE: Went yesterday to redeem my stars and get a free drink (after hundreds of dollars already paid in drinks). I say my drink, she confirms, they're a bit busy, I drive up grab my drink, take a sip , look down at it and notice there's no frap chips (same drink for 15 yrs not something I forget) 🙄🙄 I now have to pull in, take my son's carseat/stroller out of the car, get him in and go into the store to let them know of their mistake 😒. I go in, she says it's not on the tix thing (trying to imply I didn't state it, instead of apologizing for the mix up and rectifying 😳) .. that is not my responsibility, like I said to her it's the same drink I get weekly sooooo in other words STOP TRYING TO BLAME ME FOR YOUR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM. She says they will remake it, she grabs my cup (with my personal straw in it) to throw away. I reach for it and say oh no no, I am not paying for your mistake. I've been waiting for this drink so I'll have both thx. She rolls her eyes and walks away while saying "we don't normally let customers keep the drink we messed up" I reply so it makes sense to waste it??!! Mind you I've NEVER been told this by any store in any province I've been too! By this time she is already in the back. EWW GROSS BEHAVIOUR lol 🤦🏽♀️ when I was trained I was TOLD if you ever make a mistake to apologize and offer to make it correct, never take the drink back! Especially if they have drank from it. So pls explain her math. According to her 1+1=500. Especially in today's inflation and waste stats. I'll wait...... Smh this location needs help.
This is utterly annoying and frustrating I've been going to Starbucks for over 20 years I've been getting the same drink for at least 15 years a drink I made up when I worked for Starbucks in Alberta. Okay so I'm making this post because for the last year maybe longer I've been going to Starbucks every day to get my coffee and at least every day or every second day I would have to call and complain and they would replace my drink this has now become so repetitive that I'm making this post and I hope that the quality gets better. When purchasing a frappuccino these days you receive an iced drink so for the 10th plus time I ordered my usual frappuccino in my Cup I can tell it was watery at this point I'm annoyed with having to State the obvious so I took my drink and drove away but when I'm paying $13 for a drink I expect it to be the way that it is advertised and supposed to be! With inflation these days we can't afford to get lazy. I do hope that someone from the company does get back to me because at this point I'm probably owed over $100 in drinks. I don't know where the quality assurance went down but whoever is doing the training is not doing Starbucks Justice. The people at the St James and Ellice location can attest to this (they know me by name lol) that is the location that I usually go to,...

The baristas aren't very courteous, they aren't very knowledgable about the rewards system products or receptive to customizations and the atmosphere is the least comfortable as all of the chairs are the uncomfortable sort. If you're not going to be well versed in your products, rewards, or customer care, the least you can do is make sure your customer
The barista I had named Asia didn't even say 'Hi' or 'Thank you' to me, in fact none of them were courteous at all. When she had to ask a question about the a bonus card I had she didn't even say a word to me when I approached, etc, she just whispered to her co-worker. I showed her co-worker the card wondering if the christmas blend coffee would count towards it which was a buy five holiday beverages and get one free card 'No, of course not.' in a somewhat snarky tone.
It was fine with me they didn't, I doubted they would actually, but it was more so about the way they said it which was rude. Despite my order being the only one being placed; they were slow on the pace When I finally received my Eggnog Latte it tasted strange and unlike the ones i've had before, I cringed a bit.
Definitely avoiding this one and going to the far superior Henderson location; even if it means a drive. It's worth it to go where the coffee is good, the employees are friendly and the atmosphere is warm. I earnestly hope they improve this one though, I love Starbucks but this location...

What's more worrisome is then I wonder if it's actually decaf because often when I have an issue with the temperature being off, the second problem receiving a regular caffeinated drink instead of a decaf follows suite. When the person who made the drink handed it to me, she said it was a cinnamon dolce latte, but did not mention any of the modifications which makes me wonder if they were done properly. ------------+-------------
I'm doing a 3 because the service here hasn't been as friendly and inviting as other places I've been. They are exceptionally friendly and talkative to people they know, but not being a regular I found them blase when serving. If you are looking for a review of this place you probably aren't a regular. I also ran into an issue the other time I had visited. They made a big deal about the accuracy of my order then lost my order... I'll go if I'm in the area. I do hope they improve. One good thing, my drink was steamed to the right...
