I recently visited Subway and wanted to share my experience. The decor of the restaurant was decent, although I felt that the placement of the tables could have been better. The staff was incredibly friendly and it was evident that they were making an effort, but there was something lacking in their service.
One inconvenience I encountered was that the POS machine was not accepting debit cards, so I had to go through the trouble of withdrawing cash. It would have been much more convenient if they had resolved this issue.
Now, let's talk about the serviettes. I found it quite surprising that they were being so stingy with them. They only provided two serviettes, which had a very light layer. When I asked for extras, hoping for at least a handful, they again gave me just two. It made me wonder why they were being so selfish with something as basic as serviettes.
Moving on to the sandwich itself, the lady preparing it tried her best, but it didn't quite live up to the Subway standard. Having been to several Subway restaurants around the world, I know what I'm talking about. There was a certain essence missing from the sandwich that I have come to expect from Subway.
Overall, I would rate my experience at Subway a 6 out of 10. The restaurant needs to focus on extra cleanliness and quality assurance. Hopefully, the next time I visit, I will see some...
Read moreSubway corporate headquarters enforces uniform standards for franchises removing their ability to take root in the community. So entering the establishment it like stepping into the offices of the 1999 comedy film, Office Space. The restaurant was sterile and impersonal, its obvious they valued consistency and economic efficieny of over connection. For example, they put the soup in a plastic bag in the metal container to recieve a constant supply of bottom heat. No doubt leaching untold microplastic and endocrine distruptors into the soup. This isolation can be further accentuated when the workforce is composed largely of imported foreign labor, often replacing local workers. This practice not only disrupts the economic dynamics of the native population but also contributes to a sense of alienation within the community. I ask for extra cheese on my daughters sandwich and the lady looked at me like i asked her to give me her kidney. It's this kind of experience that makes me wonder if these subway people really care about us? food was good enough, i asked for a number 18, because the board said "tell us what you want and we'll do the rest", then they asked me what veggies I wanted on my nashville hot chicken sandwhich- so is this say the number and we'll do the rest or is this I have to make all the decision around here. Anyway I won't be going...
Read moreSo I went there at 5:45pm on may 18,2022 to buy a 6inch sub. When the girl got the bun I noticed it was small. Smaller then what a 6 inch should be. So I asked her if she could grab a different bun. She said why this is a six inch. I said awe no that’s not. So whatever. She made the sub. The meat hung out on both ends. I get to pay and I said so do I get some kind of discount for it not being an actual 6 inch sub. She gave me the dirtiest look ever and just ignore me. So I got home and decided to measure it myself because hey I believe that if you pay for something that’s suppose to be a certain size then you get that size. So I measure it and sure enough I was right. It came to 13cm which is only 5 inches. I’ve tried calling back and they don’t answer the phone. So what I don’t get is why didn’t she just measure it her self at the store to show that it was 6 inches. Or did she do that because they have to sell it so she’s going to lie about it being a 6 inch. I don’t get why subway don’t do one of two things. Either have a bread cutter that’s set at 6 inches. Or actually bake 6 inch buns like every other sub shop does. Instead they eye it up making it so one customer is getting shorted everytime. I also didn’t like the fact that instead of this girl talking to me she gives me dirty looks everytime I asked a question. That is not good...
