Pita Pit — Restaurant in Yarmouth

I'm posting my 1 star review of pita pit Yarmouth in hopes that higher up management sees this. In the 36° humidity levels today, my family went for some refreshing pita pit, walked in the doors anxiously awaiting the nice cool hit of AC. Unfortunately what we entered into, felt warmer than the air outside. There was no moving air in the building, and certainly not any cool air. I hope this business owner is ashamed of themselves for having employees being forced to work in these conditions. The staff said the AC has never worked there since it opened and that the 'higher ups' claim its fine. I assure you, it is not functioning and certainly not fine. It was disgustingly hot in there, the benches and tables were clamy and we'd have preferred to have eaten in our car with AC. If I was an employee of that establishment, I would have refused to work in a kitchen in those temperatures. Close your doors in this heat if you cannot give your staff air conditioning. Do better Pita Pit!! (The staff was fantastic, especially considering their working conditions, and the food was great, as always.)

Edit to add: Not long after my review & share on facebook the owners responded and they closed due to the heat. It should not take this for them to care for their employees well...

I tried to look at the menu, however it was adjusting to fast for me to read, (I have a visual impairment, and had just come out of the hospital) and I asked her what kinds of meat you can put on the pita, because of the impairment. I ordered a takeout signature platter for our team lunch. They were well- presented and all the wraps were delicious. The staff at Pita pit, Yarmouth were very friendly. I would also like to appreciate the kindness of the gentleman who helped me carry the order to my car. Overall very happy with...
