I’ve visited Caraway Grill in both Regina and Saskatoon, but this was by far the worst customer service I’ve experienced. I visited this restaurant on April 13, 2025 around 2:40 PM and spent about 1 hour. From the moment we walked in, no one greeted us, and the overall vibe made us feel unwelcome. The owner or manager was present but only glanced at us before spending the entire time seated at the bar chair, without acknowledging us—even though we were the only table there at the time.

To make matters worse, we found a piece of metal scrub in the complimentary pakora, and no one offered an apology or even acknowledged it when we pointed it out. That kind of negligence is unacceptable in any dining experience.

What really left a bad impression was the clear contrast in how the next group was treated. The same person who ignored us became suddenly attentive, welcoming them with a smile and extra care. It honestly felt like we were being judged—whether by appearance, clothing, or something else.

All in all, it was a disappointing and disheartening experience. I’d rather spend my money elsewhere than return to Caraway Grill after this also suggest same...

A restaurant that treats its customers like the Royal family.

I began visiting this fine restaurant in 2023 around the time they opened their yorkton Branch. The owner of the establishment completely understands good and outstanding service that Canadian people expect from a fine establishment. I have been documenting my experiences on each meal I've ordered there. I have refined taste and I've eaten all over the world. To my personal level of extremely high class food none of their dishes have ranged five stars on my personal high standard unusual refinement of taste. However I still publicly give the Yorkton Branch Caraway East Indian restaurant five stars in every avenue.

I look forward to dining there many many more years to come.

I ordered their takeout today where they are comfortably able to create handmade food, made in house right down to their sauces from whole ingredients, and sell it to me to go with a higher level of quality and health and fast food and a way higher level of deliciousness. To the cookson owners and stuff at the Caraway grill Congratulations, You have received one of the few five star ratings I've ever given...

My husband and I went there to eat yesterday and it's our new favourite spot to go. Everything is gluten free except naan bread and one other thing. There is soooo many amazing healthy delicious options. The owner is fantastic and super personable. He gave us space to have our alone time but was so amazing and kind to chat with. He was super helpful when answering any questions we had. The food had great portion sizes and priced well. Overall when we left our moods were lifted and we are so so grateful to have come across this gem in Yorkton. They offer catering for parties and such and will customize the order for you. 10/10 recommend this place for everyone to try out. As well you can buy a few items packed frozen to go so you can enjoy their delicious food at home or on a trip. If you haven't gone once I highly highly recommend you give it a try once and...

We came here for dinner. We ordered Veg Manchurian, Tiger Shrimp and Kachori chaat for Appetizers. Tiger shrimp was bad. It was badly cooked, unseasoned and oily. Veg Manchurian was really good but one plate only had 5-6 balls. Very low quantity for the price. Kachori chaat was average. For the main course we orderd Malai Kofta, panner tikka, lacha pratha, masala and cheese naan. Malai kofta was awful. The gravy was not even cashew sauce the consistency was so thin we couldn’t even taste the spices. Panner tikka was average, again no taste of spices in the sauce. All naan were okay. Masala Naan and cheese Naan were literally the same. I ordered masala chai as well, not good taste either.

Fast, polite service. Amazing smells invite you into a clean, chic atmosphere. They set the table for you, and then the main dishes come in bowls and you serve yourself. It was our first time, so we went with classic items on the menu; butter chicken, saffron rice, and garlic naan bread. We did not order drinks, but it looked like there was a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. We just enjoyed ice water. We split everything, and it fed us both with the bill coming to just over $20. It was a delicious and very classy experience! (Note: not all the naan bread and butter chicken is in the photo)
