Restaurante Capricórnio — Restaurant in Sal

There are two types of places in the small town of Palmeijra: The ones they bring the tourist groups and the ones they don't.

Therefore prices can be vastly different. - Capricornio is a small restaurant/bar popular with sailors and backpackers and the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. Many travellers use the bar to get some work done as it is one of the only places with good wifi.

Sometimes BBQs or Karaoke is being organized.

The staff was exceptional. We required a power plug and spent the day there to get some work done before our Atlantic crossing and we were beautifully taken care of.

They also serve the best Cachupa we tried in CV (and we must have eaten it at least 10 times - between Sal...

Staff very nice and the octopus & lobster were marvelous. Fresh, tasty and super cheap compared with european prices... A "must" if you end up in Palmeira. At the same time you can enjoy the daily life of the village while you wait to be served drinking...
