HaiDiLao hotpot - excellent restaurant, super service. This restaurant is 3min East from the Shangri-La hotel, but hard to find if you cannot read Chinese - it's actually located on the 4th floor, with a small ground-level entrance. The staff was super friendly, spoke English quite good, and guided us (two Germans with no prior hotpot experience) through the selection and preparation very nicely. Would recommend the combo of spicy and non-spicy, with meat, seafood, vegetables of your liking. Choose noodles too, it's worth it.
