Food is ok. Pigeon not bad not special. Char seow is cold and they took 10 min to get the white rice only because I remind them. It should been served with it. The gloves doesn’t protect from the pigeon grease and be mindful that the grease can get to your shirt when you bite into it. Would be nice if there was a plastic bib offered and better gloves. There was a plastic string I think. Something clear and plastic not hair in the tea I drank. Even at the beginning there’s some hiccup with the order system. Waited a while. Tried Dagefan after hearing so much about their famous pigeon rice, but honestly, it didn’t live up to the hype. The roasted pigeon tasted quite gamey for my liking — not as tender or flavorful as expected. And the claypot rice was really dry, with very little sauce or moisture to bring it together. I ended up picking at it rather than enjoying the whole dish.

The service was okay and the setting had a nice local vibe, but overall, it felt more like a place that’s popular because of reputation, not necessarily because the food is amazing.

Simply delectable, delicious...salty pigeon is juicy from within, flavored and aroma. Char siew smelts in the mouth even with the fatty parts leaving me craving for more.
