Paco Hotel Guangzhou Tianhe North Shuiyin Road — Hotel in Guangzhou City

Nobody speaks English in this hotel but the people at the lobby had translator and did their best to help me. All common areas (lobby, elevator, floors) had very little or no air conditioning at all.The restaurant was very little, I only had breakfast and it had quite poor choiche.I asked for room with balcony, but the balcony was very dirt and there was tape on one of its border, it had never been cleaned during my stay.Pillows were all very high (15-20cm) and all same softness (not so soft...), luckly I had my own, or I couldn't sleep with them.The room cleaning was approssimative and careless, the cleaner didn't even checked if there were or not spare slippers in the wardrobe; the floor cleaning was very poor and left a lot of dirt; also in first days they turned my room air conditioning off when I was out of the room, and other days they changed setted temperature without asking or advising me. I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights with my family. They offer a breakfast buffet which is really good.It includes western food and traditional Chinese foods and also fruits,coffee and and other drinks.Although there is not a large collection of food for buffet everything was really good.And also they have a free laundry with three washing machines and three dryers. The staff is also really friendly. Although everyone doesn't speak English they always tried to help us using the translator. They cleaned our room really well and changed our towels,other amenities everyday. The rooms are also clean. One day my mom lost her phone at the taxi and we didn't know the number plate or anything. But the staff helped us to check the cctv surveillance and contact the police and also the taxi driver amd we got our phone back. I had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Paco Hotel.The location is excellent — close to popular shopping areas and key city landmarks. There’s also a beautiful park right in front of the hotel, perfect for a peaceful stroll.The price is very reasonable considering the quality of service.
