Oggi — Restaurant in Guangzhou City

The food is good but the service is very poor, when we arrive there were plenty of tables without the reservation sign, but the manager ran into us and started yelling they didn’t have a table, we were quite patient with her but her attitude was rude to say the least. If true that everything was booked, there are polite ways to inform us that, but she yelled at us and other customers as well. Everyone was shocked. Love the place. Very pretty, cosy but not pretentious. Food like many restaurants in China are very generous. Delicious real Italian food, said it has been in China for the last 20 years, very good quality. Waiters are friendly, polite, waiting time is good. Today I was planning to try pizza but changed to Seafood pasta which is very fresh and yum! They have good selection of wine among other alcohol beverages. I heard Penne Beef Rogut is great. As an Aussie who has been visiting Guangzhou, for over a decade, I enjoy finding new places to eat. Oggi was great. Highly recommend the truffle pizza. Pasta was the only let down. Beefe was fantastic. Would come again.
