ELEGANT HOTEL — Hotel in Guangzhou City

I was recommended Guangzhou Elegant Hotel by a friend during my business trip to Guangzhou, and it completely won me over! The location is absolutely fantastic—just a few minutes’ walk from Liede Bridge. Whether you’re heading to Zhujiang New Town for shopping, checking in at Canton Tower, or taking an evening stroll along the river to enjoy the night view, it’s super convenient, and you won’t have to worry about transportation at all.| |The view from the hotel room was a pleasant surprise too. Pull back the curtains and you’ll see the river view and the outline of Liede Bridge. It’s especially beautiful when the lights come on at dusk, and every casual photo feels like a vibe-filled masterpiece. The room itself is clean and tidy, with bedding so comfortable you won’t want to get up. The housekeeping manager was warm and friendly, and check-in and check-out were incredibly efficient.| |What impressed me most was the “convenience.” There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, and the subway station is within walking distance, saving time and effort when traveling to any attraction. Honest reviews -Given the price-point of this hotel, I would have expected a luxurious experience. Upon entering the hotel at Level 1, I was greeted by friendly staff. A couple of steps in, I notice many statues around the hotel - albeit similar to the eclectic styles of W Hotel. However, the execution of the theme was quite tacky, and definitely not impressive in my opinion. Mind you that this hotel was MORE EXPENSIVE than W Hotel.Moreover, I had a hard time communicating with the employees as they unfortunately only spoke Chinese - and not a word of English. This was also disappointing as I would've expected a hotel at this price point to be a little more international-friendly - but I might add that the staff really tried to accommodate however they could given our language barrier. Upon entering our room, we were hit with a musky smell eminating from the carpets - which we unfortunately had to get used to for the night. Room cleanliness was good, but room size was super disappointing (again, for the price point). But that was entirely my fault as the size of the rooms were clearly indicated when booking. Overall experience was mediocre at best - but will likely not come back as there are loads of other 5 star options at this...

This hotel was on my list for so long due to so many beautiful photos on website showing canton tower and out look of this hotel, I had to try since I am an explorer for hotels and food.|Hotel rooms are average in real, hotel service is very poor, restaurants and breakfast are disappointing and low quality supply from bread to salad even, I never experienced any hotel in Guangzhou with such price and low quality food supply, I had to wait for getting an omelette for 55 minutes and in the last they could not make it , chef were ignorant and manager can’t speak a word of English, i speak Chinese and communication was not an issue but they did not want to serve any standard food, breakfast was worst ever in Guangzhou.|I realised most of people come here to get canton tower view and photos for social media and this hotel is just selling that view instead of hospitality or service.||You can get better hotel in half price,then why pay high price for such low quality stay?|I never recommend this hotel at this price for sure and will not stay again even for...
