Went there on a Saturday night. A lot of people were waiting for a table outside the restaurant while some of them were waiting for takeout. We wanted to eat Hainanese Chicken Rice but unfortunately it was sold out, so we ordered a roasted chicken rice and a pork jowl meat rice. The pork jowl meats were sliced into thin pieces and its sauce was sweet and a bit spicy and matched with the meat. The chicken was roasted well and sliced into thin pieces too. The sauce is the usual one when we eat the Hainanese Chicken Rice which is sweet with very slight spice. But it seems the portion is not enough for men. May need to order some other snacks or dessert.

- Tasty, yummy and value!! - Hot place in this neighbourhood, almost full at 12:30nn of a weekday while others were still empty. - Lunch set = regular menu + $3/$5 for a drink - Off time 16:00-18:00 on weekdays, uncertain on the weekends 👑 <𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙞 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚 $46> !! 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫!! - value of money, large portion - Tasty and tender chicken serving with chilli and lime sauce. The rice was aromatic too!! <𝘽𝙚𝙚𝙛 𝙣𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙡𝙚 $46> - value of money, large portion with the enough beefs (beef balls, ox stomach, belly) - full-body beef broth <𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙞 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙠 𝙩𝙚𝙖 +$5> - suitable for HK people, not too sweet, strong aromatic tea base

Found a few people waiting at the door one Sunday noon so we were tempted to try it out. As expected, the eatery was packed, we ended up waiting for about 15 min before we could get in. Fortunately we got a nice table at the corner with some interesting Thai decorations right next to us We ordered fried prawn cake, Hainan chicken with rice, noodles with braised beef, etc. They cost the 2 of us $169, which is reasonable. However, the chicken was less than perfect as the breast portion was overwhelming the thigh portion, which I love, was tiny. Besides, I wish the rice was hotter.

A relatively small menu with a selection of soup noodles, rice dishes and snacks. We ordered the Thai Hainanese Chicken Rice, Minced Pork with Rice, Basil leaves & Egg and Stir-Fried Water Spinach Thai Style.

The Hainanese Chicken was delicious. Tender chicken served with flavoursome oil rice and a spicy and tangy homemade sauce. A slight disappointment was the portion size. Too much rice and chicken portion was slightly too small

The Minced Pork with Rice, Basil leaves & Egg was also very tasty. Rice was well cooked and the minced pork was excellently seasoned. However, there was a lot of juice at the bottom of the minced pork, which was slightly disappointing.

The Stir-Fried Water Spinach was above average. Well-cooked and had a good spiciness to it. However for its price, the portion size was quite small.

Great food that is very good value for money. Will definitely order from this...
