HKUST is all about the LGs. LG7 that is.
So imagine you're an international student (me) and you come across what seems like the asian cafeteria of your dreams (because you've only ever been subject to Tim Hortons, Subway, or questionable Chinese food (looking at you Ho Ho's) for most of your campus life (also me)).
You walk up to the menu and the first things you notice are that: the menu is huge and the menu is in Chinese So you almost begin panicking because you're a banana and can't read a thing in Chinese except for the numbers 1-10 (pretty much me) and you were hoping the ordering process would be as simple as the automated machines in LG1.
BUT luckily, you realize there's actually English as well so you make your decision based on the English and whether or not you recognize what you think is the proper translation from the little Cantonese you know.
So you make your choice and walk up to the ordering counter all the while thinking about how much of a disappointment you must be to your asian heritage UnU.
But it's okay, because in the end it's all worth it. And you know that you wouldn't be able to get such a great deal for ~$5 CAD anywhere else UwU.
8/10 the ordering process can be a bit confusing, but it's overall a bang for your buck.
