A welcome respite after a long week of local food (all good, but a taste of home is always welcome). Of five meals ordered by our party the best was by far the alfredo pasta with mushrooms. Ever so creamy and smooth with what felt and tasted like locally made noodles (wonderful) and tasty fungus. Next up would have to be a tie between the quesadilla with wonderfully caramelized onions and tender chicken or the chicken sandwich with just as tender a patty and fresh tomato and lettuce. The spaghetti with smoked ham was kept alive by the ham (amazing) while the balance was average, but tasty. Last on the list, the pizza. While the cheese and pepperoni were great the sauce and crust left a little to be desired (but seriously this is picking here as we are in Shangri-la...).
