Fairwood — Restaurant in Kowloon

During our visits to HK, dispite we stayed at just above the Hollywood Plaza (at the Galaxia), we had only been to the Fairwood fast food restaurant once as we much preferred the Cafe de Coral or the Maxim's even they were further from where we stayed. We came here for breakfast. We ordered the steak & pan fired chicken with eggs & toast, together with a portion of satay beef macaroni, a bowl of Chinese congee with turnip cakes & siu mai dim sums & 2 cups of ice coffees. Dispite the foods were tasted nice (i.e. the steak & chicken were tender after all), but they just contained too much MSG within. Our faces, bodies & fingers joints reacted badly & our eczema emerged straight after we finished the breakfast. Service & the dining atmosphere weren't nice either. The teamlead at the food till was shouting and screaming to the customers & even to her own team members throughout. The seats & tables were tiny too & there wasn't enough space between tables. It was hard to get in or out of the chairs without your trousers touching the tables or someone else. Overall, in my opinion, it's nowhere close to the standard of Cafe de Coral & not even as good as...

The food is worst. How the hack the chicken look like those food place people hate to eat at. This place is a chain and should taste great if it had so many stores, chain. This place is the worst food I every ate...

Just love the place... Don't know why... Previously, I love McDonald's more... But I am starting to like Fairwood...
