Fulum Palace — Restaurant in Kowloon

Out of all the restaurants I have visited in Hong Kong, this place is without a doubt the one that I had the worst dining experience. The waitress was plain rude and disrespectful. She was close to throwing our plates and chopsticks onto the table. Her tone hinted that she was impatient and not interested in being here at all. The food was as bad as the service. The portions were so small, the dishes were bland and they told us they were out of salt. Out. Of. Salt. They also messed up our order and gave us a dish we didn't order and did not let us know they were out of stock for the actual dish we ordered until we were ready to pay...

Had two great meals during our November trip, both during their promotion period. First one was a suckling pig and Alaskan crab. The suckling pig had a crispy and crackling skin with lots of meat while the crab was massive with lots of crab meat. The other special was a BA credit card special. 9 course meal for only HKD1188. Only the dishes were full of flavour, delicious and just wanted more. What a feast. Overall deco was impressive, service was professional and speedy. Casually dressed but restaurant...

Food is good. Afternoon tea is excellent value.

Servers were nice and helpful.

Kitchen is soooooooooo slowwwwww!

It's relatively busy, but I suspect it's only the Swedish Chef back there trying his best and cursing his boss for refusing to hire more chefs!

If you're not in a rush and just want to relax and hang out, this place is great.
