Lai Chi Kok Park is a delightful oasis in the bustling city of Hong Kong. Located conveniently near the Mei Foo MTR Station, this park offers a perfect blend of traditional and modern elements, making it a must-visit for both locals and tourists. One of the standout features of the park is the Lingnan Garden. This beautifully designed area, with its traditional Lingnan-style buildings, pavilions, and landscaped gardens, provides a serene and picturesque setting. The garden’s tranquil atmosphere is perfect for a leisurely stroll or a moment of reflection. The park is also well-equipped with various amenities, including a public swimming pool, sports grounds, children’s playground, jogging trails, and even a 200-seat amphitheatre. The sculptures and well-maintained landscaping throughout the park add to its charm and appeal. Whether you’re looking to relax, exercise, or simply enjoy the outdoors, Lai Chi Kok Park has something for everyone. It’s a wonderful place to unwind and escape the city’s hustle and bustle.

This beautiful park is worth a visit. Spacious, nicely designed and well maintained. There is a smooth running track for the nearby residents to jog or run. There is also a pond with turtles and lotus flowers. Do bring your camera since there are scenes for you to take photos esp. in the Chinese themed Lingnan Garden inside the park. You will hear birds singing continuously and there is a great variety of them. This is a perfect place to sit, listen, and enjoy the serenity in this busy city.

I had a brief visit to this park. It is a spacious and peaceful park in the middle of the city. It is conveniently reachable via the red-metro line Mei-Foo station. There are temples, ponds, flower gardens, playgrounds, slides and swings for kids and lot many more for recreational purpose. There were several groups of people meditating, exercising, walking, taking rest and so on. This park seems to be good for families with elderly people and small children. I feel it serves a great purpose for the local residents, and it may also be a great place to visit for tourists who are park lovers. I spent less than 30 minutes as there is nothing more to do and see inside the park. I feel that a brief visit is enough for tourists like me and for those who have enough days to explore Hong Kong.

One thing I like about Hong Kong is that albeit having high population density, it manages to maintain green spaces beside towering buildings and public parks that promote health and well-being. You can breathe in clean air, listen to the birds chirping, and simply take a peaceful stroll. Lai Chi Kok is spacious enough; you can kill at least an hour appreciating nature here.

What a place! Very well kept, beautiful traditional Asian architecture with details everywhere. A feast for the eyes and ideal to take photos. Great place for picnic, walking, exercising, sports facilities like tennis, soccer, and a huge skateboard park. Lots of verandas and benches. Very safe and covers many hectares of park next to residential apartments.

Thoroughly enjoyed walking through the pack. Spacious and beautiful flowers. Great for running also. Nicely design. Inside this park there is another garden called lingnan garden. Worth a visit. You can get to this park via mtr mei foo exit D. Do give it a few hours to explore as the park is split into 2 halves and the area is quiet big.
