Butterfly Valley Road Pet Garden — Attraction in Hong Kong

We went Butterfly Valley Pet Garden a couple of days ago, and I must say it's a true paradise for our furry friends.

I was put off at first by the lonnggg walkway where we saw only one dog, but once we got to the end of it, there were plenty of dogs happily playing in a round open area. I like that the main play areas are big enough for dogs to run their butts off, but aren't so huge that it's hard to keep an eye on them.

At Penfold, Cyberport, and W Kowloon, we've seen a few off-leash aggressive dogs whose owners were not able to control them when they bolted off to attack other dogs far away (I don't mean playfighting - I mean unprovoked fierce snarling and biting that terrified or even injured the other dog). It would be more difficult for that kind of thing to happen here, given the layout - and if it did, there would be plenty of witnesses. Overall I felt the owners here were more responsible and better at keeping an eye on their dogs.

Our dog is too young to do much jumping/agility, but it will be fun to take him here to use the poles/tunnels/jumps when he's fully grown.

If it had a parking lot and a bit more grass (there's some, but overall it's mostly bricks),...

a good place for pet to exercise. many lovely dogs around. the location is conveniences

with water supply for doggies. the pet owner needs to bring a bowl for your pets.

if the area with more seats and table for pet owner. that will be better. table preferred to be higher for stopping the pet to reach, especially when we want to have simple picnic. Haha
