My experience at this restaurant was so poor that I felt compelled to share it.
First off, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is incredibly cramped. It was difficult to even walk to my table, as I had to squeeze through narrow spaces between tables. Once seated, I was immediately struck by the noise level. It was so loud inside that I couldn’t even hold a normal conversation with my friend sitting right across from me. Not a great start, but I hoped the food and service would make up for it.
Sadly, the service didn’t improve. The staff delivering the dishes were fine, but the real problem was with the cashier. I tried to pay with Apple Pay, but Mrs. Ho at the cashier counter was rude and dismissive when I asked if I could use it. She said only physical cards were accepted, and when I asked why, she responded by saying I was causing her trouble. When I requested a receipt, she initially refused, only to later reveal that the restaurant still uses an outdated card machine that doesn’t support contactless payments.
I find it completely unacceptable that in 2025, a restaurant in Hong Kong would not have an updated payment system, especially considering how common contactless payments are nowadays. What’s even worse was the attitude I encountered from Mrs. Ho. It was as though she couldn’t care less about providing any kind of customer service. Her behavior made my visit far worse than it needed to be.
Overall, this experience was terrible. Between the cramped space, poor service, and outdated payment system, I won’t be returning. It honestly made me reconsider my entire trip to Hong Kong. I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant if you're looking for a pleasant...

I wished they hadn't touched because this is the second time it is getting revamped which means the first time wasn't good enough.
It is such a nuisance for the elderly especially people with dementia.
Evidently Ocean Fresh is successful as local TVB Celeb William Chak was there that night!
I love my fish so we had fish, a side dish and dessert.
The fish was just steamed with soy sauce topped with spring onions.
The oil they used was fresh so it didn't ruin the fish.
The pork in red beancurd sauce with lotus root slices was quite salty.
The pan fried buns were a little different without the spring onions.
Finished with the sweet purple potato pudding.
The dessert is worth trying if you like purple potatoes as it contains real purple potatoes...
Read moreManager (in blue suit) quite rude, in general most of the staffs pretty impolite. Food options are limited compared to other yum cha place. Unless you looking for canton dining instead of yumcha, but still, the service not as decent canton dining. Food quality are not up to standard as well. Rice flour roll either too dry or overcooked, the worst rice flour roll i even had in life. Radish cake not even hot when it arrives. Spring rolls taste really oil. Water that added to our tea pot not hot everytime. Btw if you still decide to come for make sure you look at the wrong clock on their wall, they will decline to take your order if you trusting the actual time but not their own time :) NOT...
