5 Miles Specialty Coffee is by far the best coffee in Kunming. It's a cute little shop with a Marzocco machine. They get their beans from all over the world and even had some from a couple of good roasters out of California, U.S.A. The owner and baristas speak both Mandarin and English. Top notch specialty coffee shop.

The owners/baristas are both very knowledgeable and professional, and manage to combine these qualities with friendliness.

We had a local Yunnan BaiShan Bean pour over. It was perfectly extracted to our liking.
