Happiness Cuisine (Science Park) — Restaurant in Sha Tin District

The chairs here were not comfortable. They were hard to move, and it is obstructing. The table was also placed too high. None of the staff here had name tags, they messed up our names and blamed it on ‘busyness’. They were also unusually confused about the available soup. They also suddenly looked down at a piece of paper in a stupid way. When we ordered a soda drink, the staff took a long time. Not only that, but the generic purple lights on the ceiling and the big monitor at the back also made the experience even worse. The people at the back were also shouting and cheering loudly over nothing, and the sound of bottles colliding with each other was unbearable. I also heard a loud table pushing noise.

One of the most notorious staff here is called 黃慧萍, and her behaviour was unsatisfactory. Her accent was irritating, and her behaviour was suspicious. She repeated ‘身體健康’ for an excessive amount of time, hit another staff multiple times, and also opened a bottle forcibly yet slowly. She was wasting our time. Another person, presumably a staff, walked past us and started mumbling nonsense next to us.

We come here for lunch almost once every two months. Before Covid, you had to wait for 10, 20 min before you got a table for 6. In early 2021, you can almost always get a table when you arrive. Food and service quality are up to standard. Yet like most restaurants, they are a bit understaffed. By the way, don't let the name "science park" fool you. All 3 parking lots are separated in terms of parking fee. If you want to redeem your purchase and get hours of free parking, go to the specific counter with your receipt AND a corresponding credit card payment proof. Photos are from Father's Day set...

No frills, don't come in expecting a Michelin starred meal. Excellent value for money, good food, and spacious environment. For those wishing to skip the crowd this is the place to go especially on evenings and weekends. Ample parking at the Science Park parking lot.
