McDonald's (Shatin Galleria) — Restaurant in Sha Tin District

今天送小兒到课外地點上堂，嚟到沙田商業中心的麥當勞分店，想買一杯走奶的即磨咖啡$15.5， 收銀的同事很熱心提點了可用$15套歺已经有即磨咖啡及芝士蛋包，那当然感激及接受了她的好意。 當坐下時才發現咖啡沒有走奶，便不自覺說出心聲，負責清潔的員工聽到了，很主動的告訴我可以幫我更換，幾分鐘之後他把一杯走奶咖啡及一杯熱水送到我枱上，我很多謝他，也感受到他們的熱誠。這種人情味讓我回味年青時，70 /80年代的社會環境。

Today, I sent my child to an after-school learning place. I went to the McDonald’s branch in Sha Tin Commercial Centre and wanted to buy a cup of coffee without milk for $15.5. The cashier colleagues were very enthusiastic and suggested better option $15 set that includes both coffee and cheese egg burger. Of course I was grateful and accepted her kindness. When I sat down, I realized that the coffee did take milk, so I did unconsciously speak out my worry. The staff responsible for cleaning heard it and actively told me that it could be replaced. After a few minutes, he delivered a cup of milk free coffee and a cup of hot water on my table, I thanked him a lot and felt their enthusiasm. This kind of human touch reminds me of the social environment in the 70s/80s when I was young.

The orange juice was minty and it burnt my throat! The only explaination I could think of was detergent or corrosive disinfectant used to clean the juice container.

When I called to let them know, I didn’t receive any apologies from the staff....
