Outstanding local cuisine, almost rivals Dianshi Zhaixiaoyan in Yongjia.

It's quite small and you'll have to queue at busy times, but arriving after 7 may see the last of the crowds.

Stinky tofu wrapped in tofu skin (to control the smell), exploded pig's liver, braised bamboo shoots, beef in tofu skin, cold pork with garlic sauce, and everybody's favourite: dates stuffed with sticky rice.

This place is the perfect balance between good price, quality food, non-pretentious atmosphere but also clean and inviting. Delicious food! I feel like you can't go wrong with any dish. I like that they do not use MSG in their recipes. The space is small; we shared a table with 4 other groups. Dates stuffed with mochi(Xin Tai Ruan) was really good. other dishes were passable including the scallions noodles.
