Grandma's Home — Restaurant in Shanghai

Grandma’s Home has multiple locations. Majority of them are in malls so they are pretty easy to find, but Google doesn’t have all of their locations. The one I went to is in the IFC mall. We went for Chinese New Year’s where they had a set menu. They load you with food and it was only the three of us so we ended up having lots of leftovers. We had about 12 dishes total. Pricing wasn’t bad and food usually in China is pretty cheap anyways. The salad was surprisingly tasty. We had dinner at HKRI mall. It’s a big outlet and there is no need to wait on a weekday night. Modern and clean setting. The robot with fruit trays is a fun feature. Quick and friendly service. Most of the dishes are tasty. (Hints: items with stars are good recommendations). Reasonable prices for the food and portions are generous. We ordered 5 dishes between 3 adults. Within the Shanghai IFC mall you’ll find Grandmama’s Home serving Shanghainese cuisine. I’m a little nervous at first because I’m not very familiar with this style of cuisine and it’s hard to understand what I’m ordering, even with photos.
