Greenland Wangxiangyuan — Restaurant in Shanghai

Thank you , thank you. My first experience of true hunan cuisine. This restaurant is called "South Memory" Hunan Cuisine. it's located between Laoshan and Nanquan on Weifang Road. I tried translating my bill, but the name did not match, then I zoomed in on my picture taken while leaving and found the name. I had just arrived in the area again on my last night, went out with a rep. for a late supper after an evening meeting. I had just returned from south PRC. Many thanks to the night manager for allowing us to dine, it was 10 mins to close, and she allowed us to stay. We eventually left at 11:45pm, but the food was amazing, not only did the manager have a second chef remake a dish which was too spicy; (ever see four different kinds of chili on beef) but after checking the order, realized it was a mistake. The beef ended up with zero heat, but it was fine. The fungus was fantastic, the soup was incredible and the pancake/layered seasoned bread was just "tai hao le". What an excellent meal and great...
