My first hotel and my fourth hotel stay during my visit to PRC. My suggestion to first time foreigners; if you like the comforts, you are used to, stay at a western hotel chain. I insisted on staying in all Local hotels while in PRC, and eating at local restaurants. It's worth the pain from the hard beds. My first couple nights, I stayed in the on-line budget room 358rmb/night. It's like the red roof inn, 30 years ago or some econo-lodges. On my run back up to this area, I book a business suite at almost twice the price. Not worth the 600rmb/night. the hotel needs updating. The lobby is great, the breakfast has something for everyone and the food is fresh, the coffee is 3.5/5. I brought my own, just in case. The front desk has only one person who speaks English and you have to catch her shift or you are stuck with a translate program. My limited mandarin only allowed me to order food and counting/paying was no problem. The big plus, they take credit cards. The hotel seems like its a work in progress, the younger staff are just great and are willing to try and understand and even translate your verbal needs, with the help of their phones. Location is a big plus. The room clean up staff are helpful, but mandarin only. Great location, good convenience, good food; hard beds for...

Read moreFirst I booked two nights at this hotel, but thanks god my plans have changes and I only had to stay there for a night. The room was terribly dirty, there were tons of hair on the carpet, not to mention that the whole carpet was covered with some stains. There was spider’s net in the corner and on the wall. Someone’s hair in the bathtub (and it wasn’t clean as well). The room smelled like a combination of smoke and mold and there was no chance to get any fresh air, because the window of my room overlooked the corridor. Also, in the description of the room, the presence of a refrigerator, a safe and a sofa was indicated, and none of this was in the room. I payed for all of this almost 400 for one night and now I’m trying to get a refund from the platform, because the only purpose this hotel room can be used for is to commit su*cide lol I will attach pictures and you can draw your own conclusions, but I strongly not...
