June 2023, so sad to see Pistolera closed and gone. I couldn’t find a way to report it as permanently closed, so I’m posting this as a review. See photo as proof. UPDATE: For you Mexican food fans looking for your fix in Shanghai, I found a location still open. It’s inside the main entrance to the Portman Ritz-Carlton Shanghai on west Nanjing Road. More or less the same menu as the one on Hengshan Lu. Same fun atmosphere and outdoor patio area available. Potent margaritas, great guacamole, and my favorite, tuna ceviche. Live music in the weekend. Best way to find it on Google Maps is search for the Portman Ritz Carlton. Here is the official address from SmartShanghai: 1/F, Shanghai Center, 1376 Nanjing Xi Lu, near Xikang Lu 南京西路1376号上海商城1楼, 近西康路

Nice Mexican restaurant. Delicious dishes and plenty of options. Also veggy ones. Nice ambience and staff. I choose the black tea for drinking and it was amazing. There's also a ginger one which is great!
