We had an incredible experience at Ensue with new chef Jeffrey Wu. The service was absolutely exceptional, 3 michelin star level. The wine list is very extensive. The food is strongly influenced by Chinese and flavours with local produce which is great. Very nice and delicate presentation and taste. We especially loved the wagyu beef which came from China and was exceptional. We were also lucky to be able to meet the chef who took us on a tour of the kitchen. What a delightful experience we had at this restaurant! The atmosphere was so relaxed, the courses were wonderful, and the service was truly excellent. Our time there was absolutely lovely. The table service stood out as outstanding, and the waiters were incredibly attentive, making the evening feel exceptionally special. Giving 5 stars because I’m sure it’s fantastic. Didn’t get to eat here because there is no good way to communicate as a foreigner. They respond to your email within 24hours but request for you to download WeChat app for further communication- instead of actually answering your questions from the email. I know I was a last minute request, but it’s already so complex to function as a foreigner here, you would think a fine dining restaurant on the 50 best restaurants in the world would be a safe haven for foreigners to indulge in the local cuisine with comfort....
