You know what to expect from a big chain restaurant, although I have to say that, compared to countries like the UK or US, McDonald’s in East Asia is superior.
As someone who has been away from Hong Kong for so long, I was very intrigued by all the different choices that can’t be found in the West. I am a fan of the crunchy Ovaltine drink. I also had the crunchy Ovaltine bubble tea, but I think it’s better without the tapioca pearls. A Horlicks sundae for just $7. A bit too sweet for my liking, but it was interesting to try. You can order a Sausage McMuffin (no egg) and pay a slightly cheaper price, whereas in the UK, you pay the Sausage & Egg McMuffin price even if you don’t want the egg.
Decent amount of seating and staff are pretty good at keeping the tables clean. The bin has a handle so that you can avoid touching the actual flap, which may have food residue. So convenient and considerate.
All of this will be normal to people in Hong Kong, but I am disappointed that this is not available to me...

Also if you prepay they offer either table service or pick-up at the counter.
Food is prepared to order so it is sure to be hot. However the fries were undercooked which is unheard of at a McDonald's, but it happened.
