Shaffi's Indian Restaurant(Halal) — Restaurant in Yuen Long District

Hey what’s up food hunters 😎? Wanna eat like a Hongkie(local people)? i went in this Indian curry place for lunch , i have ordered a curry beef lunch set and it comes with a bowl of curry beef(7pieces of meat inside) a bowl of rice a side dish with 2 kinds of snacks a soft cold drink also a Indian style bread , the smell of the curry is strong and beef r soft and little bit spicy , the side dish snacks r about average , the bread is warm when it comes to my table 👍🏻, there is no queue when i get here at 12:00 on weekdays , i spend about HK$56 for the lunch set , OVERALL - clean & neat ⭐️⭐️out of 5 , food quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️out of 5 , atmosphere ⭐️⭐️out of 5 , pricing ⭐️⭐️⭐️out of 5 , price to food quality ratio ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️out of 5, if u like my review please hit that LIKE ❤️button thanks and i will see u guys on the next one , love n peace...

I came here because I love Indian food on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn’t busy which should have been a sign. I won’t be back for sure. Too many good places to eat in Yuen Long. The booth smelled funny but I was excited to try this place anyways. The food was super oily and not the same as in photos nor what I have ever had anywhere else. I alway get sag paneer and this was probably the worst restaurant I have ever had it before. My favorite part of the meal was my mango juice. The only slightly bonus to my food was that they used real spinach and tomato.

I saw that the food took a little longer (with only 3 tables inside) because the chef must have made extra because all the servers sat down in the corners and had their lunch. Which I don’t mind but for the place being slow the curry shouldn’t take...

Food quality is consistently fair, sadly not for the service. Dunno if the restaurant hired new waitresses or just that I'm unlucky. I wanted specific seats but one of them just kept telling me to stay seated and wait in cantonese, however, obviously she meant to serve me right where I had to sit and 'wait'. Then she just let others to go for the seats I tried to request for, without telling me that oh maybe the seats were requested already. maybe it's just the language problem, both cantonese and english can't solve in an indian...
