For sushi and sashimi, this place has reasonable value and quality. Had lunch set of 10 pieces assorted sushi $98, no 10% service charge on weekdays. No line around noon. Came with salmon tofu miso soup, small salad. And steamed egg, hot tea. Service was efficient.
So 3 years later in 2023 came back for a weekday lunch. No wait. Service charge of 10% on Ala carte items, not on set lunch. I have set lunch of chirashi don $58. Small size bowl and you will leave still hungry. The raw fish were mostly odds and ends pieces that can't make it to being sashimi or sushi, still they were good for the price. Also included a good salmon miso soup & tiny salad.
Also the cod fish sperms sashimi @$68 was decent but not as good as those I had in Japan, of course. The ikura (salmon eggs) gave both dishes the saltines and pops. Overall it's still a good and very popular place for Japanese, but I wouldn't queue up for long time to eat here. ...

Went there for dinner on a weekday, it was pretty busy. We waited for around half an hour for a table for two. My recent experience makes me wonder about the drop of its quality/ service/ experience, perhaps they just need to get more staff in. Price itself isn’t expensive but whether or not it’s worthwhile, it’s another question. I mean I’m not gonna go back...
