星巴克 (元朗廣場) — Restaurant in Yuen Long District

This particular Starbucks outlet consistently exceeds my service expectations, to ymthe point they've moved the service standards goalposts into 5* hot league. Product knowledge, friendly greeting, tick tick. But they exceed. They driver outstanding service, service that matches anything a five star hotel offers. And the bonus, excellent English conversation standards. This is six star service in a coffee shop in the boondocks, Long Ping, Yuen Long. Standard Starbucks which means mostly money makers. Everywhere in the world about same prices. Small size which is still a respectable 8oz is HK$27, more expensive then locals but typical for a Starbucks. This location in Yuen Long Plaza is relatively small, not as comfy as the one at YOHO. WIFI with receipt is good for 30 minutes free usage, NOT unusual in HK where rent is expensive. So they don't want customers to sit all day long on one cup of coffee like in the States. As usual I don’t have any expectations for the taste of coffee @HK Starbucks. The service and the environment are not bad but the staff only follow the instructions from training and without the passion for coffee making. Maybe I expect too much to a chain store brand.
