Torito Al Carbón — Restaurant in Armenia

We ate dinner here Sunday evening on June 30th. Everyone ordered various meals on the menu and almost all of them were very good except one. My kids wanted a hamburger so they ordered the hamburger on the menu. Once the hamburger arrived both of my kids took a bite and did not want it anymore. They said it was too big and too messy and had many ingredients that they did not want. My son decided not to eat another bite and I'm glad he did. My daughter on the other hand was craving hamburger and decided that she would just eat the meat and take the bun and the rest of the stuff and put it to the side. Well, the next morning she was sick and has been sick now for hours and we're pretty sure it was the hamburger. No one else got sick and everyone else enjoyed their food, but I do not recommend the hamburger. As for the restaurant it's nice, can accommodate large crowds, and it's cheap. For example the most expensive thing on the menu is approximately 24000 Colombian pesos or roughly $8 in US. A drink will cost you about $0.75 or 2500 pesos. I would eat here again but would stay clear of the hamburger. The restaurant is on the main plaza in Finlandia and you can't miss it at night because it has one of the more distinctive reddish signs. Quiero expresar mi inconformidad con algunos aspectos de mi experiencia en el restaurante Torito al Carbón en Armenia. Aunque valoro el esfuerzo del mesero, quien brindó una atención excelente y solucionó rápidamente cualquier inconveniente, hubo detalles que me parecieron preocupantes.

Noté que los cocineros no utilizaban adecuadamente el tapabocas, llevándolo en el mentón en lugar de cubrir nariz y boca, lo cual me generó inquietud por la higiene y la seguridad. Además, los cubiertos que se colocaron en la mesa estaban sucios, lo cual no pasó desapercibido. Si bien esto se resolvió sin problema al solicitar unos nuevos, considero que este tipo de situaciones deberían evitarse desde el principio. Por otro lado, debo reconocer que la comida estuvo buena. Sin embargo, es importante que estos aspectos de higiene sean atendidos para garantizar una experiencia completamente satisfactoria para los clientes.

Aunque la calidad de la comida en este restaurante fue aceptable, mi experiencia se vio afectada por un problema con el método de pago. Antes de ordenar, pregunté específicamente si aceptaban tarjeta como método de pago y me confirmaron que sí. Sin embargo, al llegar la cuenta, me informaron que el datáfono estaba dañado desde hace dos días. Esta falta de comunicación fue inconveniente y generó una situación incómoda, especialmente porque no se ofreció ninguna solución o compensación alternativa.

En cuanto a la comida, ordené una picada personal y un servicio de chicharrones, la cual fue suficiente para dos personas. La carne estaba bien preparada, suave y con buen sabor en general, aunque el chorizo estaba un poco seco.
