Ate and paid. Their machine supposedly messed up AFTER charging my card. They held me up and argued with me for at least 15 minutes because some error on their machine when I clearly showed that they charged my card. They insisted they needed to charge me a second time. No thanks!!!!

The two natives ahead of me did not have this issue. Only me, the English speaking American.

Update after response from coffee house who calls my comment spam. Then makes an excuse that it takes time to process payments in other countries.

I've been living in Bogota for 2 years and this has never occured. I've traveled around the world and again it's never occured. But that's fine. If there was truly an issue I have no problem with waiting. If you read my review though, it wasnt a suggestion to wait for the payment to process, no, they insisted that they needed to charge my card again. ASCO de lugar, quise inclusive hacer la denuncia con las respectivas autoridades pero no lo hice por no dañarle el negocio, pero me acordé y aqui les cuento. Fuí con mi pareja a disfrutar de un buen café y acompañarlo como de costumbre con un buen postre; todo iba muy bien, ella enamorada del lugar, atendían dos jóvenes, cuando de un momento a otro uno de ellos empezó a subirse a una silla y decirle a su amigo que había pasado un ratón por detrás de él. Desde ese momento fue un show completo con el lugar lleno de comensales y el joven aterrado y a viva voz hablando sobre el animal. Estábamos en la mesa que queda pegada a una de sus vitrinas, mi pareja también subió sus pies, cuando de reojo pude ver el animal, era extremadamente grande, blanco y negro, cola larguísima, se movía por debajo de dicha vitrina. El café logicamente queda justo al frente del río arzobispo y junto con el dulce logicamente no iba a dejar de ser visitado por los roedores. Las personas que me conocen, saben que yo miedo a poco le tengo y actué como si nada, pero como dicen por ahí: la bulla es la que mata y el empleado fué el que alarmó y generó alboroto, los que estábamos en el lugar nos retiramos, inclusive ingresó una familia con un niño que a penas caminaba y les informé que era mejor que se retiraran por bienestar del menor. Entiendo el miedo, temor, fobia y todo lo que pueda generar al empleado, pero créame: las autoridades tienen conocimiento sobre esto y les cierran. Los empleados saben muy bien que la situación fue tal y como la estoy transmitiendo, por nuestra parte ni locos volvemos a ese lugar, termina siendo un nido de ratas, disculpen mi referencia pero así es y me demoré en publicar porque fue ya varios días atrás esta situación, sino que hasta ahora me acordé...

The owner is not a true barista. Our group ordered almost all types of coffee in the menu (we were 7 people) and it took such a long time for the coffee to arrive and it was too hot. I personally ordered flat white and it was neither a double shot of espresso and the milk wasn't proper either. If you're a tourist and you're looking at this place, look further. Why go to this place when the world's best barista is nearby? If you like proper coffee, go elsewhere. A lot of coffee shops get away with poor barista techniques because the coffee beans in Colombia...
