Lyara Restaurante — Restaurant in Manizales

We arrived at the restaurant around noon, and there were only two tables of guests in the restaurant. Even though we didn't make a reservation (yes, highly recommend that you make one ahead of time because it got quite crowded very quickly), the owner invited us in warmly. We ordered ceviche as an appetizer and a main course (stir-fry mariscos with deep dried potatoes). The ceviche was good and the main course was good. The fried potatoes were quite heavy with oil. We only ordered the appetizer and a main course (no alcohol), and the bill came up as 35.53...

English - The flavors are dynamic, and wonderfully complimentary! The meats are all properly done - not overly done as is so common. The sauces have clear flavors but don't overpower anything else on the plate. The team clearly loves what they do, and it shows in their product - and the smiles you see on Fabian and Sebastian! We shared the Lingua (OMG!!! so moist and delicious!) a version of Paella with a noodle base, and the cake desert - and will be going back later this week If you don't go, it's only your fault for missing out! So go!!

Español - (permisso para mi Español!) ¡Los sabores son dinámicos y maravillosamente complementarios! Las carnes están bien hechas, no demasiado como es tan común. Las salsas tienen sabores claros pero no dominan nada más en el plato. El equipo claramente ama lo que hace, y se nota en su producto, ¡y en las sonrisas que ves en Fabian y Sebastian! Compartimos la Lingua (¡Dios mío! ¡Tan húmedo y delicioso!) una versión de Paella con una base de fideos y el postre de pastel, y volveremos más adelante esta semana. Si no vas, es solo tu culpa por perderte. ¡afuera!...

Delicious food (Peruvian-inspired), great service, nice place... All ingredients to have a lovely night.

We ordered three dishes (2 starters and one main course) for two and was enough.

Andres (his owner) was quite friendly and always pending of every detail.
