El Llanerito Centro — Restaurant in Medellín

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! Located in downtown but on the second floor, it offers an escape from the city's hustle and bustle. We enjoyed a lovely table by the terrace, where we could watch the lively street scene below.

Our server, Osmo, was exceptional. Despite our limited Spanish, he took the time to explain the menu options slowly and clearly, and his friendly demeanor made our lunch even more enjoyable.

We started with a refreshing salad, guacamole, and crispy nachos. For the main course, we took Osmo’s advice and shared a substantial platter of meat, potatoes, and yuca, which was perfectly sized for two and absolutely delicious.

We had a blast at this place. The simplicity made perfection, short menu with straight to the point well done cuts of pork, meat and lamb. I believe this is one of the places I most liked in Medellin just because it also gives you a glimpse of the on-foot people, once you're seated on the balcony, you will just be amazed with the pace of the city, the people passing and the sounds.
