A decent hotel with free breakfast and wifi and close to everything I needed. Excellent staff. Security on duty and some one always at the front desk. Key card elevators and room doors for extra security. I felt extremely safe. My room was ok. It wasn't the best or worst I been to. But I wasn't trying to impress anyone, just explore Colombia, which I did. Hotel directly across the street from museum and major artwork. Train station nearby, bus transportation directly around the corner 10 COP is much better then uber or taxis.
Very affordable room with safe and awesome views of Medellin... tour excursion desk inside the hotel. Ensure you sign up earlier to get assigned. I signed up the morning of and was fortunate they had one seat left. My room was clean and maid's came daily. Outside around the corner can be busy and undesirable if you or extremely upscale. But it's part of Colombia and I accept it (trash, venders and etc). Police and military near the hotel area. Only negative.. if people would just dispose of all their trash property, this area will be even more often. Taxis and uber in the area for your transportation needs. I would not recommend renting a vehicle. Driving is bananas, they run red lights and motorcycles (to much to discuss). Not sure about parking. But this is a large building with multiple restaurants inside. Full stock snack tray and cold beverages. It did come in handy for me one late night. Comfortable beds with work desk. Hot showers and toilets with a toilet seat (some places don't have toilet...
Read moreGreat experience staying at Hotel Nutibara. So, it's not the usual place to stay for a family, I'll say that, which I'm ok with. This charming behemoth of a hotel that has seen better days manages to capture your imagination and let you transport to another time while constantly reminding you that it is 2023. Chaotically but effiently ran by a team whose charm matches and often exceeds the hotel's. Driven by providing a world-class hospitality experience to everyone every time, as this history filled hotel would demand, this team brings shine to other wise lack-luster areas. Hotel and staff work together to elevate my pre conceived idea of what to expect staying here. Caught up in time, Hotel Nutibara continues to strive to be the icon it once was by staying relevant, thanks to the well-rounded, fully invested team. A big huge thanks to Harold, one of the managers there, who made my stay that much more comfortable. His professionalism embodies the energy that the Hotel Nutibare has worked very hard to keep it...

The hotel offers 56 rooms over 2 floors, indoor parking, outdoor pool, restaurant & café, and a poorly equipped gym. The hotel is outdated but is still pleasant. Free Wi-Fi. Friendly and helpful staff.||||We had a room with view of the pool. Our room was adequately furnished and decorated, with a good double-bed & bedlinen, ceiling-ventilator, TV on the wall, mirror-cabinet, air-conditioning, wardrobe & safe. We had a small separate bathroom with toilet, washbasin, bidet and shower over the bath. All was clean.||||Windows can be opened and have shutters. There is substantial traffic noise. At the nearby corner is a bus stop and traffic lights. Busses stop and accelerate from early morning till late at night.||||The breakfast is modest: pastries, toast, butter & marmalade, croissants, fruit & orange juice, cups of cereals, milk, tea & coffee. Scrambled eggs and espressos are extra.||||We found hotel Nutibara comfortable and we...
