Osana Spa — Restaurant in Medellín

I don’t know what happened, but at the Fitzpat Club the Osana Spa was more than disappointing. The spa area was extremely small, with a puddle of water right in front of the reception, and there was only a very limited supply of towels.

No spa flip-flops or shoes were provided, so we had to walk barefoot through the entire spa area into dirty showers. Even worse, we had to use the same towel we were covered with during the massage — already dirty from the cacao scrub — also for drying off after the shower.

The massage itself felt more like a rushed “car wash” than a proper, certified treatment. On top of that, the showers barely worked — only a drip of cold water, with no hot water available.

In the end, we were offered a refund, which we accepted, but overall this was an unprofessional and very disappointing experience. Absolutely not what one would expect from a spa connected to a...

This was a wonderful experience. I had done a lot of research on different spas in the area as I wanted one that was very professional, used mild products and did not potentially offer other services (seemed hard sometimes to distinguish between those and the ones that offered more than regular massages…). Osana spa is on the second floor of a commercial strip mall with lots of other beauty services and about 7-10 min drive from the busy party area of el Poblado. Worth the short drive - an Uber or a taxi is so easy to get. My daughter (13) had her first facial at Osana Spa and they did both hers and mine at the same time. It was such a nice experience for both of us. I had a hydraulic facial for the first time and my skin looks radiant - took years off my skin. Please don't be late!!! They are very strict and not understanding. I'm a tourist, it took me a while to find a cab to get there and then I had trouble finding the place. I arrived at 1:12 instead of 1pm so yes I was late and then we took a long time to understand each other about the type of massage I wanted because they had told me by messages to discuss this once I was there, knowing that I don't speak Spanish but they charged me 200000 pesos/45$ for 45 minutes instead of one hour which is unacceptable!!!! So just be careful and don't be late because they're not understanding at all and they take appointments by the dozen. I don't recommend this salon, there's plenty of choice, there are plenty of others...
