PUNTA BRAVA RESTAURANTE — Restaurant in Santa Marta

We came here with our family and friends and we absolutely loved everything about this place. From the time we walked in the door and until we left. We got here about 8pm and sitting outside was no issue. The weather was very nice and comfortable. Our server Ani was very attentive to all of our questions. My wife and mother in law are Colombian so ordering and asking questions was very easy. The menu is quite extensive but we where able to make some great choices. There was 7 of us so we all ordered something different and was able to sample from each others plate. Everything was so delicious and perfectly cooked. One of the best places I have been both in Colombia and comparing to where I come from (Norway). We went to Punta Brava two times in one week, and both times we were served by Marbel. She’s so nice, patient and even funny - really service minded! I ordered Pichana de la casa the first time and steak blue second time, AMAZING. Si van en carro, no esperen que les ayuden mucho con el parqueo. En la puerta está un señor que no se le ven muchas ganas de vivir. El servicio es normal. Pero lo que si no les recomiendo que pidan en este restaurante es comida. Pedimos una entrada de cóctel de camarones y estaba muy simple, por no decir que desabrido, le rescato la presentación. Pedí un Pargo Rojo y la verdad tiene más sabor una chupeta de vidrio. Viene con unos patacones que saben a puro aceite. Con eso son dos comidas de mar muy malas, y eso deja mucho que desear de un restaurante que está a la orilla del mar. Mi esposa pidió Suprema Especial (pechuga de pollo) que dice que tiene queso mozzarella pero como que se les olvidó ponérselo. Tengo que decir que ese pollo estaba muy rico. Pero no vale los 60mil que se pagan por él. Además, no viene con más nada. Hay que comprar la guarnición por aparte que son 12mil. He estado en Andrés carne de res, en los restaurantes de los Rauch y en Storia D'Amore y otros más. Y nunca, NUNCA! había visto una proteína sola y que hubiera que comprar la guarnición por aparte. Debo confesar que no pagué servicio, pero fue porque sinceramente la comida es horrible, excepto ese pollo, ese pollo estaba bueno (pero muy caro). No les recomiendo ir.
