I’ve been to almost every restaurant in Raro and this one has to take the top spot for the worst food. Menu does not reflect what is brought out - $45 for an apparent ribeye, prawns, calamari etc.. but was left with a microwaved, watery looking steak drenched in a bland mushroom sauce and topped with two deep fried prawns that did not look anywhere near ok.. We should have known when the place was empty but all surrounding restaurants were pumping! A must visit if you're ever in Rarotonga!! The owner (Papa Eric), is an absolute delight who enjoys speaking to all guest. The hospitality from Eric, the waitress' and the chef is beyond anything you'll experience in Raro. I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful restaurant multiple times over the course of 3 weeks and each experience was just as amazing as the previous. The atmosphere is beyond anything I've seen on the island and it's complimented by the lovely island music. The food is amazing and the best steak I've had on the island. Alright drinks, decent service, terrible food. Do not order the seafood unless you want food poisoning and uncooked fish. Thinking of going here on your night out? Dont. Also a ransom drunk old guy behind the bar (who I presume was supposed to be the bartender) making unfunny statement that come out of his mouth more scary than humourous.
