Bar Valentín — Restaurant in La Fortuna

We were looking for a place that wasn't a tourist trap and was a place where locals would typically go to. This was one of those spots. Off the beaten path, and a great find. Our bartender Jesús was amazing who always had a perfect recommendation to whatever drink we were thinking of. We also enjoyed a few local cocktails curated by him and I can not say enough about them! The rest of the staff was incredibly friendly, and was extremely attentive to our needs and they all knew English extremely well, even though I didn't expect it being that I figured it would be mostly a local haunt. We stayed at the Airbnb next door and came over for drinks and dinner. This place blew all of our expectations away. The drinks were great and the food was even better. The owner/manager ensured we had a great time and went out of his way to come talk to us and make sure we had everything we needed.
