You’re better off going anywhere else in Nosara. Terrible service, rude wait staff, and they charged me for something I didn’t even buy. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. And I don’t write reviews like this ever, but I had the worst experience ever here. The waitress was so rude to me I was in disbelief. And I worked as a server in the past, so I am overly nice to them because I get it, it’s a tough job. I’m not some prissy human, but I ordered the sweet potato fries, which under the description says curly fries. They are $9. The fries came out and they were not curly, nor were they sweet potato. So I asked the waiter if she could bring the sweet potato fries, or the curly fries. Either would have been fine, I just don’t like regular fries. And she was so rude to me. She basically gaslit me and said that’s what I ordered, even though where was no such thing as regular fries even on the menu. Everyone at the table heard me say sweet potato fries. Sure, maybe their menu has a language barrier, but I ordered what I ordered. She then rolled her eyes and stomped away with my fries and went to talk to the chef but made a whole scene and was obviously saying rude things about me, they both looked over and rolled their eyes. Then she waits 20 minutes before coming back over and says “we’re out of sweet potato fries” when she could have just came over and said that. She brought my old fries back to me, now that they were cold, and said “we’re still charging you for these so you may was we’ll eat them”. It was a whole scene and then when it was time to pay the bill she refused to come back to our table and sent someone else. So I paid, and later had to file a credit card dispute because they charged me $9 for regular fries that I didn’t even want. I only like sweet potato fries, and that’s what I ordered. I know it’s weird, but it’s the principle. If you order vanilla ice cream and they give you mint, you’d be upset when they gaslit you and then charged you for something you don’t even...
Read moreWe came here for lunch on Father’s Day and loved the beers, food and atmosphere. We tried many different beers the hazy and session were delicious. I also enjoyed the sour. We had almost all of their tacos which were all delicious but the first one, I think it was pork, was insane. Everyone wanted to come back the next day to have more tacos. The cheese balls and tortilla soup were also great. They have multiple TVs on so we were able to watch the Euro cup which made for a perfect Father’s Day. All of the staff were fantastic and extremely friendly. Highly recommend for food, drinks and a great vibe. They also have tons of games for people to enjoy which helps if you have children who get bored at...
Read moreI try so hard to love this place, I love the vibe and the food is good, if not a little pricey for the portion sizes, nevertheless I keep coming back but every time I do, I wait over an hour for the food (if it’s not forgotten), and it’s just so disappointing 🥹 Today was the last chance and even though I am normally very patient, especially on busy days, waiting over 1 hour for three tacos and fries without anyone checking if we might like another drink, and then there being a hair in the food along with the waitress being less than accommodating, rather seeming annoyed, and having the sent back taco on the bill has definitely put me off...
