Rosi's Playa Pelada — Restaurant in Nosara

A small, OG mom&pop soda with great, authentic Tican food, very affordable pricing, and generous portions just off of Playa Pelada. Plenty of available seating, adjacent parking, friendly, prompt informative service, and a wide selection of delicious fresh beverage options prompted us to return, again and again - perfect for grabbing a quick lunch midway through your beach adventure. The Chicken Rice, only available Tuesdays and Thursdays is fantastic. We visited several times in the span of two weeks, and no matter what selection was made, everyone in our relatively large party was always very pleasantly surprised by the combination of flavours and textural counterpoints. The house-made salsa verde picante is absolutely legendary....

After travelling through La Fortuna, Monteverde, Somara, and Nosara; this is hands down the best soda you’ll have. Nice quiet local spot that has been in business for years and there’s obviously a reason for that. They have a second location east of this and I cannot speak on behalf of that, but for this one is a guaranteed 9.8/10.

Quality of food, price, and quality are beyond outstanding. You’ll leave full and satisfied every time.

HIGHLY recommend the stewed chicken & beef.

The food was so fresh and so good! I loved this place so much I came back multiple times!! Service is fast and lot of delicious food for cheap! If you want to try amazing home made Costa Rican food that taste like grandma made it def come here!!! It’s next to a tennis court so you can people watch with pickelball...
