Naans & Curries - An Ethnic Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Sánchez

First time eating here and had such a terrible dining experience. Came with a group of friends and the servers forgot MULTIPLE dishes. My friend waited over 10 minutes for their main after everyone else had already received their food. I ordered two dishes and an appetizer and one of the dishes never came, clearly they forgot. We also ordered two sides of rice after finding out the entrees do not come with rice OR naan, and the server forgot. I even had to get up and ask for the rice because the servers did not check on us to see if we needed anything or how the food was tasting, and by then my dish was cold and I had no more appetite. We asked for spicy dishes and they did not alter the spice levels but instead brought us spicy paste and told us to add it in ourselves. Chicken was overcooked and rubbery, and sauces lacked depth of flavour. One of us found a hair in the food and they brought out a new dish instead of offering a refund, which we would've liked because by then we weren't hungry for anymore. Price is incredibly high for the portion size and lack of sides. Incredibly terrible service from both the workers who are ignorant, forgetful, and careless. Don't think we'll be coming...

This is hands down the BEST Indian restaurant in Costa Rica and we tried a few. In fact, we drove an hour out of our way to have Naans & Curries on our last night in CR. We loved it so much that I am writing my first ever google review to support them. Shindayji customized our orders to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences. The chef (Mohit?) made a couple of dishes that we requested which were not on the menu. The food tasted like it does in India. Everything was fresh and delicious. I've been a regular client of this restaurant since its opening, today I ordered and the food from Uber Eats and it was too spicy, it said it was medium but it was really really strong. Not only am I a regular client but my ordered was of almost 50.000 colones. I called the restaurant and told them my case and their solution was telling me to go (drive) to the restaurant with the food (when i ordered from uber eats to not get out of the house), and that they would change only if it was getting out of the house driving and returning the food. Honestly I believe this is an outrageous response due to my amount of orders and money...
