Pizzería Rosso di Roma — Restaurant in San Francisco

Visited on a Sunday afternoon, around 2 pm. The place was at 70% occupancy, just to make sure my experience is properly set. There's enough parking, and the place is nice: it feels fresh and different from other restaurants, the waitress was attentive and spent time sharing the details with us. At that point we were having a good experience. However, once we ordered our food, we started seeing some problems: drinks took 30 minutes to arrive, our appetizers arrived 45 minutes after ordering, pizza took 15 minutes longer, and 20 minutes more for a pasta dish. So, food is very slow to arrive, and it's hard to enjoy a place where items are just too slow to get to your table. One more issue: pizza with heavy toppings. When you have a thin pizza and you place too many toppings, the pizza loses integrity, and it no longer feels like pizza but like a taco. Cooks need to make sure you experience the pizza as it's supposed to. You need to use smaller pieces of toppings and not too heavy. Also, the main course should arrive at the same time for everyone on the table... I expected this from such a nice restaurant. Food taste is OK, but they need to serve it faster and...

Muy mala experiencia en su restaurante. Los camarones que nos sirvieron estaban visiblemente sucios, y al expresar nuestra preocupación, la respuesta que recibimos fue que ya los compran así. Esto no es aceptable, ya que la responsabilidad final recae en el establecimiento, al ofrecer comida a los clientes. Todo alimento debe ser revisado para asegurar que esté limpio y en buen estado, ya que el servir camarones en ese estado representa un riesgo de contaminación para el resto de los alimentos.

Además, el servicio fue muy deficiente. La persona que nos atendió ofreció reemplazar los camarones, pero nunca trajo el reemplazo. También ofrecieron queso para la pizza, pero nunca lo trajeron.

Lamentablemente, ni mis familiares ni yo volveríamos a este lugar, y sinceramente, no puedo recomendarlo. Espero que tomen estos comentarios en serio para mejorar la experiencia de futuros clientes.

😩 Y el parqueo es súper incómodo y como no hay nadie afuera dirigiendo ni pendiente las personas parquean como pueden y esto hace que sea...

Loved It! The staff is super friendly and their accommodations for someone in a wheelchair are really great! We met the owner and it was raining so he brought an umbrella ☔ and helped us with my grandma who was in a wheelchair when we were getting her in the car🚗. The food was really delicious and we will be back...
