Food was delicious - made slow and from scratch with high quality ingredients. This was evident just by taste, and confirmed when the owner - Caroline - came out and chatted with us and told us about it. She showed us the fresh grated coconut from which she makes the coconut milk that serves as the base of so many flavors. No canned stuff here. Fresh coconut milk is so laborious to make but the flavor difference is night and day. Caroline is a friendly, interesting, and passionate woman and we enjoyed talking with her after we ate. The other staff members were friendly and attentive too. This was our last meal in Costa Rica before heading back to the states and we were very happy we chose this place for dinner. I had an absolutely terrible experience with this restaurant. The address listed on Google is incorrect, and I spent over an hour driving around trying to find the place. I called three times, and each time a woman answered, promising to send the correct address. She never did. After waiting another 30 minutes with no address or further communication, we finally gave up and left. What a complete waste of time!
