Please, stay away from this rat hole. I have never seen anything as atrocious as this place. Dirty bathroom, a tiny fan for two beds and a thin glass with a curtain separation the hall from the actual room. Of course, hot as hell! I left in a matter of 3 minutes. A friend try wifi and you guesst it,,, not working. For 20 dollars more we end up staying at the Aloft, wow what a difference.Just in case after talking to a person waiting, he said, the hotels here in the center if Alajuela are pretty much the same quality...wow. Pick a real hotel for a few dollars more, your family and friends will appreciate the gesture. A good night sleep is gold!!!||Good luck...

Alajuela bus stations are at walking distance what makes traveling to San José very easy. No problem, such things can happen.||However what we didn't expect was the 'wildlife' we found in our room and in the bathroom: roaches. We told the owner and he promised to solve the problem. After a couple of hours we returned and nothing happend. The roaches were still there. Eventually we removed them ourselves.||We've paid 40 dollar US which is a lot of money, but we've seen it before in Costa Rica and in the rest of Central America.
